OUT OF SYNC UPDATE::::::::
Last term we had some friendly visitors come to our class. These cuties were loved by all.
Week 6 - Federation - we have begun our next HSIE unit of work. We are investigating how and why our country became an independent nation. We are learning how to research effectively and what a reliable source of information is.
This week we gained a foundation of what federation is and means.
Week 5 - skipping practice...! Jump Rooe for heart..!
Jump Rope for Heart is designed to increase children’s fitness and health, while raising money for the fight against heart disease.

Week 4 -
PDHPE - For PE this term we will be working towards creating our Jump Rope For Heart Routine.
On Tuesday afternoon, after recess we will be practicing our skipping skills. The kids are quiet enthusiastic and keen to try some new skills and tricks. Our routine should be terrific!
HSIE - Federation. Our unit of work this term is around Federation.
Creative Arts - This is a busy time for us. This year is a School Concert year. Because of the uneven number of classes, our class will be split between the two Stage 3 classes. We will be present a Medieval item. We will practicing on Fridays after lunch. If you are keen to help, you are most welcome. Bring your ideas with you.

Slime!!!
Non - Newtonian fluid.
This slime is a liquid - because it pours and a solid. This is a special type of matter.
Week 1
Our CHAPS class is loving Science this term with Mrs Rankin.
The topic this term is : Whats the Matter?
We have started looking at solid, liquid and gases.
We have begun exploring how matter can change form.
We have made Spiders - liquid (soda) and Solid (ice cream) to create a gas substance.

We have started exploring Micro-Organisms.
We have looked at yeast.
We tested the different combinations of yeast, sugar and water to see which combination would inflate the balloon the quickest.
Bottle one: with the green balloon had water and sugar.Bottle two: with the white balloon had water and yeast
Bottle three: with the pink balloon had water, sugar and yeast.
